In the good old days you had to work 18 hours down pit and contract lung disease, or slay a terrible dragon or something really difficult.

I do the washing, wash dishes, iron, all sorts of housework. The boyfriend does the man stuff like putting up shelves.

Then again, I would hardly call myself a "real" steak-football-look-at-that-piece-of-pussy man

I do the manly stuff like repairs, shed assembly, plus chores, plus cooking some nights, plus I've done every nightshift/night feed (still 2 a night at age 14 months) with our daughter since birth and I've cut down to 4 days work a week so I can take her for a day a week too, all while running my own business.

Nº1 son is a full time househusband. Works fine, but like being a full-time housewife it's a tedious business at times.
