Weak bladdered badgers, I presume.

No, forrin badgers. Badgers that commit acts too grotesque to be mentioned in respectable company.

They wouldn't do it outside a mosque.

They're the best kind.

There you are, Malcolm, you're respectable. The Mail printed this so you must be. You must be so proud.

So, by that, we can assume largely she was taking most of the right precautions, she just slipped up.

None of us are perfect, so I don't think we're particularly able to pass judgement.

Did you miss the bit where she was doing this in a kitchen next to a gas cooker which was lit? When your life is at stake you need to take all of the precautions, not most.

Perhaps she is dense, perhaps she having a brain-fart, who knows? Even if she was responding to Maude's suggestion in choosing to decant the petrol she is still an adult and responsible for herself.

No question? None at all? She is a free agent. She could hear the suggestion and think, "Sod that" or "Good idea, now where is a sensible place to decant some petrol? Near an open flame perhaps? Erm... no, I'll do it outside."

She was at least partly to blame. Would she have been decanting petrol if this weeks events had not unfolded? Probably not but she still chose to take a dangerous course of action.

Seeing as I've mentioned it two or three times, no.

Yes, you have to take precautions, but as I said earlier - how many of us forget about things like the oven being on, that certain chemicals are dangerous and so on and so forth? All of us, I would assume.

No-one here is suggesting she isn't partially responsible for her actions, but instead we're saying she was put in that position by the chaos Maude caused.
