For the love of God, I am not trying to defend the mail. Are you people absolutely determined NOT to read the various posts in a thread because if you did you would actually have to answer the question raised (and shoot yourself in the foot at the same time?!)

Then what's your purpose*? This site is about pointing out the lies, shit quality of journalism and blatant agenda of a crappy tabloid rag, not about being a trolling club for lefties (which we aren't all anyway, for the millionth time) regardless of how many times you claim it is. The Royal Mail article is a classic example of that, and apparently your issue is not with the dreadful quality of the article or any of its multiple flaws or shortcomings or blatant ulterior motive, but that people dare take issue with that. If that's not defending the article, what is?

As for your request for evidence that all couriers do it, you know full well that that will be nigh-on impossible to supply while still being aware it's almost certainly true. But then this site isn't about us being whiter than white and perfect anyway so it doesn't matter in any way (other than a hugely telegraphed classic troll nitpick/derail that you've latched onto to try and get people to shut up - the true point being about the bias in an article published in a national newspaper giving zero comparison and NOT whether someone on a forum noting that out can provide screeds of evidence at the drop of a hat) - its (again) about pointing out the shit quality of journalism and blatant agenda of a crappy tabloid rag. Because they're the ones who should have standards, being a national newspaper and all. And of course the sweeping generalisation you made - that we're all lefties - IS easily disproven because we've already told you we're not all lefties. The fact you don't believe this (or choose not to) and use leftie as an insult is yet more manure on the dung pile that is your playbook.

So we've got:
martyrdom
nitpick/derail
holier than thou
denial
hypocrisy

As I've said before though, keep it up son. Your tactics are so fucking blatant it really is hilarious (honestly, do you think you're like the first guy ever to try this stuff online or are you really just that thick that you reckon it'll definitely work this time and we'll all run away crying and shut the forum down and you'll have officially won "teh internetz"?), and dismantling your postions is easier than knocking down an already-wobbly jenga set with a speeding bus. What's up next, the multiple account trick with the "new" person being your friend and backing you up? Or will you go for the other tactic - the multiple account trick where you argue with yourself in loads of threads so they all get derailed and everyone gets bored? The "insults via PM" tactic of making people thing they're being singled out? Or will we get the "I'm being censored" sob story/huff speech before claiming to leave for ever (as if, somehow, anyone would give a shit about that anyway), then coming back a week or so later? Because I bet none of us have ever seen any of them before so one of those is *bound* to work.

*clue: trolling

Royal Mail refuses to deliver to woman's home because there's no pavement outside

Uproar as residents are forced 14 miles to pick up letters because Royal Mail bans deliveries... because of a single broken paving stone

The first paragraph is even clumsier than the headline:

Quote:
Royal mail have halted deliveries to a housing estate, forcing residents to make a 14 round trip to collect their mail, because a postman tripped on the pavement.

The only letters received have been from Royal Mail, informing them about the ban.

Royal Mail bosses ordered their workers not to deliver to the houses after an accident on March 5 when a postman suffered 'serious injuries'.

And judging by the photographs, that area is absolutely frakking horrific.

'Are we supposed to airbrush out two world wars as well?' Royal Mail bans 1940s cartoons because they're anti-German

'Rejects' would be a more accurate word than 'bans'. But who's interested in accuracy anyway?

Practically a non-story. But the comments show what kind of sociopaths Mailtards really are. As if we really needed reminding.

I hate my neighbours and they all hate me. Dunno why?

I can just picture this twat. I wonder what he's done which drives them to react like that towards him?

What if you hate your neighbours? What if you're in a long-standing dispute with them? What if they're evil and will smear excrement over your letter before burning it and dancing up and down in the ashes? This is extremely bad practice and you know WHY they're pursuing this policy? So they can skip every other house and save time!
