Hard to see what her motivation might be to allow access for this story. Unless she was told they were going to write it anyway, and by co-operating she made it less bad than they threatened.
From the Mail's point of view it's a great story, point the finger and mock, get the commenters to really put the boot in, lots of hits, advertisers and shareholders both happy.

In either case it's despicable to hold someone up for ridicule when there's a good chance she has a psychological condition or emotional problem which is leading to this behaviour.

Yes. it says 'my hands have to go somewhere' or 'my back is killing me, I'll try and take some of the weight off it'.

What I don't understand is why the photographer felt the need to get the poor woman to go and pose sat next to the unborn sprog's cot in the nursery. What is the purpose of that, given that the baby's room at home has nothing to do with the story?

And on a side note, seeing pregnant women walking around in reeealy tight tops or with their stomachs hanging out makes me feel a bit sick. That is all. Back to the articles.

Returning to an old friend, I am declaring -

Locals -1 Nationals - 0

Our dear old friend who was filling in the potholes on the access road to the scout hut as pictured in the Bournemouth Echo, now with added junior SadFacers

Strong work from the lads upfront but I suspect the bigger boys at the back are taking the piss and doing aeroplanes or "If I had the wings of a sparrow, and the dirty great arse of a crow..."

Now I can hear legions of American Jewish men going "What is this?" in my head.

A fine example of "manager speak"

The Mail and its readers can whine about this all they want, but there are rafts of evidence that this sort of obsession with competitiveness at a young age - rather than teaching and honing actual skills - is one of the reasons for the home nation teams being shite.

At the risk of being strictly off-topic, I just had to share the gravity of my disappointment when this prime candidate...

Pensioner, 87, handed ASBO banning her from playing Glenn Miller and Frank Sinatra songs too loudly

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... oudly.html

...was illustrated with this picture!

What was she thinking of?
Where were the neighbours who've "gone through 13 months of 'absolute hell' as grandmother bangs on her wall listening to hits"??
What was the photographer thinking of? ??

Heads should roll over this.

Titanic fan's 1:10 scale replica of doomed liner opens to the public in his garden... but it could get sunk by council planners

Who would have thought you needed permission to build a hundred foot long structure with a tea room inside. Barmy, I tells you!

PLU fail as well - too sick to work but well enough to father five kids and build a massive boat.

Woohoo! I now have a chance for my very own sad face! I took the grandkids on a picnic today and handed out bottles of Co-ops finest Fairbourne Springs still natural spring water and Gracie broke the seal, took a swig and spat it out. It was full of cleaning fluid.

What do I need to do to get a sad face in the Mail? Gracie's good at sad facing so she's a natural for the picture.
