She can't be anorexic, somebody on facebook sent me a picture where she appeared to be ingesting a decent sized weiner.

I can't see any problem with the jeans. Probably because I'm a bloke.

She does know how to cover up! Rihanna steps out in a rather masculine outfit of baggy flares trousers and a visor

I'm not getting the butch vibe.

Just like mum: Emma Thompson and her lookalike daughter Gaia step out in matching outfits... and they've even got the same haircut

Allow me to translate the headline.

Step out = attend gala performance of Thomson's new film at Cannes

Lookalike = visibly related in the way most children and parents are, but not unusually so

Matching = one's a dress, the other's a trouser suit, otherwise they're not remotely similar

Mailites can't pass up the opportunity to criticise someone's parenting:

Quote:
Emma should have left her 12 year-old at home, dressing her like an adult is most inappropriate.

Lovely girl and Emma is a great actress - but those heels, at 12? Really?!

12? I'd have at least taken her for 16+ - let the child be a child...plenty of time for heels and shift dresses when she's older!!

Not putting her best foot forward! Lisa Rinna steps out displaying unattractive toenails as she films QVC fashion show

Quote:
Hard and dead skin could even be seen underneath her right foot, suggesting Rinna hadn’t invested in a pedicure for quite some time.

Shame on her. I wonder how she sleeps at night.

Quote:
Good grief, is this what British journalism has come to, an article about the state of some American woman's toenails?

Nobody's stepped out in quite a while. Until now.

Shouldn't that be 'barely-there'?

You surely aren't suggesting that the Mail makes grammatical errors?

It isn't grammatical. It's a punctuation convention.
