It was Charlie Brooker, wasn't it?

Perhaps being made to look at that photo on a regular basis until the title of thread doesn't seem so bad any more?

What, this photo?

I'm not even sorry.

Richard manages to take tedium to a whole new different level.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-2147753/The-Eurovision-crisis-Its-Greek-innit.html

Quote:
Economists remain divided on whether Greece should leave the euro. So this column has decided to consult a prominent member of the Greek business community in Britain for his expert opinion. With apologies to Paul Whitehouse and Harry Enfield, live from his kebab shop in North London, here’s Stavros...

The Greek economic crisis through the eyes of a character Harry Enfield killed off 20 years ago. He clearly must think all his readers are over 40 and fairly stupid.

Like most of the other part-time stay at home columnists on the Mail, Richie also has a dig at suggestions that civil servants may be allowed to work from home for a few weeks.

Just as a request, is there any chance if changing the title of this thread?

I occasionally shop in Lidl and in no way does it deserve to be associated with RJ.

Please?

Come up with another pun to replace it and we'll talk.

Two comments from Wally before 8am going on about us. Obsessed much?

The regular readers must be utterly bewildered.

I tried to post a comment asking why Mail journalist are the only group of workers who can work at home without skiving or slacking but sadly the mods blocked it.

And that's the crux of the matter isn't it? The Heil (and it's not alone in this practice) defend the publication of agendised, inflammatory and incorrect articles by claiming it's an opinion piece. In the Heil's case, it's all excused as debate. How can you have a debate when an opposing view is censored or blocked? It's more like a party rally.

He's now posted 5 times today, I'm including "Nargle Fargle"'s posts because I'm convinced those are Wally too. Being ignored by the regulars has driven him to do his own backslapping with his imaginary friend.

This is the most wonderful piece of journalism I've ever seen. If only David Cameron had your intelligence and insight we truly could go back to the glory days of the 1980s. Back then we knew the future was assured what with deregulated banks with unlimited lending, all those utility sell-offs to force down prices. Doing away with British manufacturing so web could buy cheaper from abroad. If only we had a proper government like that again.

Love the lefties asking if Wally is obsessive, when their forum on Littlejohn runs to 689 pages on the subject - Irony overload. - Nargle Fargle, UK---------------------Hilarious! I thought that myself. The Leftie trolls just don't get irony. It's like a weird cult over there. Mainstream views are not permitted.

689 pages over 6 years. That's not a lot, in the scheme of things. 3 or 4 comments per article?

We have squeezed out 22 pages about board members' bowel movements in just three months. Extrapolating this data forward by five years and nine months gives a similar figure to Littlejohn's thread. An interesting correlation, no?
