I think Willets is thick. Sly, perhaps, but only bright in the context of a bunch of thick rich boys.

Now talking about the million neets. So whose fault is that? Eh?

Minette Marin says bosses should be able to fire at will to give neets jobs. Meets with deafening silence. Rhys Jones supporting her, gets applause. He's a bit of a shit, isn't he?

Makes you wish that Mel Smith had chinned him at the end of those sketches.

You do suspect he's about ready to shed his skin. Or, at least a senior Slytherin.

Griff Rhys-Jones should, like Vorderman, never be let near a QT panel ever again.

Rhys Jones is talking rubbish. Surely if you take on a new employee you will know within a couple of months if the are up to the job or not. If someone isn't cutting the mustard after 6 months it is pretty easy to dismiss them. If an employer decides after 3 or 4 years that an employee is rubbish you really need to question why it has taken so long for an employer to reach that conclusion.

I found it chilling just how divided the audience was on this issue.
To me it's a blatant boit of class war from the posh boys.
But at least half the honest burghers of Norfolk appear to have swallowed the Dacre line.

Fuck off Jones. Seriously.

He clearly understood fuck all about energy supply.
He really needs to get his mate Rowan (Degree in Electrical engineering) to write him a song about it.

And what's with the "6 people died, but it was something other than radiation, and now the levels are at micro somethings".
OK so go and shoot a documentary there for a few days.
And why not install a nuclear power plant on your yacht.

Thought not.

Oh, fuck's sake. Why does everyone misrepresent nuclear accidents?

There have been very *few* nuclear accidents, and the most prominent ones weren't nuclear. Fukushima(?) was damaged by extreme tidal weather, Chernobyl was a steam explosion caused by lax safety measures. Neither were related specifically to being nuclear.

We really don't care of beans or cabbage provoked the fart.
We do care whether the emission will suffocate us, or just make an amusing noise.

Prezza was certainly the star, Rhys Jones was just a distraction if he had not been on the show there could have been some proper debate rather than his inane ranting.

How did the Lib Dems manage to bunk off again? Perhaps they now have a new strategy of keeping a low profile in the hope that the public will forget that they are part of an unpopular coalition government.

I think they have a note from Nick Clegg's mum.

Please excuse Nick from games until he or his team find their bottle.
Nick also lost his backbone in a nasty accident, and it's becoming more apparent that his father and I are not married.

Next 3MIAB needs a "Luca Brazzi" episode. Knoworrimean.

I've concluded that Dimbers ought to be permitted to carry a loaded Webley, just in case a panellist gets out of hand.

Have you seen the abysmal 'documentaries' McGrath has done? On home-brewing beer, the archaeology of pubs and Britain's Bloody History. Not very good at all...

He was almost painfully embarrassing on QI. He seemed to think the objective was to show off how much he knew, and that the public would in some way be impressed by that.

McGrath needs a script, I seem to remember Chelmsford 123 was quite funny (all right not necessarily because of him). He has done some good work, he was a scriptwriter on Not the Nine O'Clock News, Alas Smith and Jones and Who Dares Wins which were good. But that was all 20-30 years ago.
His wiki informs me
Quote:
In 1992, McGrath was dismissed from Hat Trick, for allegedly not pulling his weight.

That rings true, on the evidence of his documentaries, he strikes me as a lazy bastard, quite content to do half-a-job.
