She hasn't derailed at all, she raised a relevant point. Abuse/harassment against men is a problem, and often ignored/laughed off. That's the relevance in this article.

No, its not, it is an article about the harrasment of women in the workplace, abuse of men happens, but is a separate topic and it is a common tactic of people who would rather women kept quiet and in their place to raise it. The what about the menz meme is overused but this is a classic use of it. 40% of women report sexual harassment in the workplace, that is a story that needs to be told, without needing to apologise for it or say of course some men get harassed too.

Nobody here is saying this story shouldn't be told or attempting to derail it. Nobody is trying to keep it quiet. Nobody is apologising for it. One comment - just one - touches on a similar topic.
