Heh. This one made me smile - wonder if the commenter really does hold that post? I hope so!

I'd love to see the fat prick put in a 14 hour service.

This is true. I've come damnably close myself over the past week, and I'm a wee 12 stone slip of a cub.

I imagine Littlejohn would be like a former colleague of mine, who would take any action, up to and including picking fistfights, cutting himself and faking seizures, to get out of a friday night rush.

Occasionally I like to sneak in a quick "truth hurts" post just before they close the comments after a few days. Just so it always sits on top. Because that sort of thing probably winds Wally and chums up a treat ;)

Quote:
"What kind of miserable misanthrope grasses up his neighbour for filling a children’s paddling pool on the hottest day of the year?" What sort? Well just look at the comments. People gleeful at being able to complain about neighbours who play music. People gleeful at being able to complain about neighbours having a barbecue. The same sort of people who'd probably like children to be shut away in silence, then who'd also complain that you never see children playing on the street any more and they watch too much tv. Then who'd also complain about 20 mph speed limits put in to make it safer for children who do play out and so on. You know exactly what sort of person - the typical selfish, never-satisfied, nit-picking, fault-finding, world-loathing, would-complain-if-they-won-the-lottery-at-all-the-money-they-had-to-carry Daily Mail reader.

I'm not even going to link to it. Suffice to say it contains no reference to Hunt, and is just a load of health and safety shite and a slagging for a female pilot.

The barmy elf 'n' safety fears which stopped disadvantaged inner city kids from paddling in the sea

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/artic ... g-sea.html

Must have taken at least ten minutes to write this one up !

Friday mods must be on. I got this on:

Quote:
Run out of bottles to throw from the back I see, Mr Littlejohn. Funny really - if Mr Hunt had been a Labour MP and Gordon Brown had been the one letting him off the hook to save his own skin, we'd have probably had at least two indignation-filled columns from you by now demanding his head and the PMs head, and underlining the shocking sleaze and incompetence of those in high office. But the Minister for News Corp (Con.) takes the stand and reveals his astonishing bias and dubious dealings, that the chancellor was tinkering with a controversial media takeover, and further to cover his own backside the PM then ignores the evidence and says Hunt acted properly (!) , and not a peep. Still, you keep on at the real issues eh - those fictitious health and safety stories and snide digs at women won't write themselves!
- Charlie Chalk, Chalk Farm, 1/6/2012 11:21

And the one below has a clear breach of the "we must not admit where Dickie lives" rule:

Quote:
Argghhh, the evil health and safety brigade. You know, the one that is actually tiny and insignificant! How do I know? Because not so littleJohn has to resort to fishing out tiny isolated incidents like this to back up his point. Enough is enough. The fact you don't even live in this country that you judge so much is laughable.
- Dan, Lancs, 1/6/2012 11:18

If I were a suspicious type, I'd say they're letting through more comments just so there are *any* comments!

More crap from everyone's favourite Liverpudlian sheep.

Quote:
Morning Mr. Littlejohn. So the ElfnSafety brigade can bring their full weight to bear in order to protect schoolchildren from any adverse effects of having a paddle in the sea. Shame they are not so eficient in protecting schoolgirls from being preyed on outside the school gates by adults plying them with drugs and luring them into sex and prostitution. Of course, political correctness doesn't apply to the sea.

- Callan, Liverpool, England, 1/6/2012 9:44

Well of course not, Callan, that's not their bleeding job. That's the job of the police, social services and decent parenting. You twat.

When I looked up the red arrows story on the web it looks like the article is based on a press release that was issued on the 4th March so it's taken Littlejohn 3 months to write about it, how lazy does that make him?
