Richard Taylor's good programme on Pugin just had the Pistols on it several times. The analogy wasn't entirely clear to me- did the Pistols evoke the 14th century or something. Confusingly, Pugin was also the Stranglers as well. Who was Ruskin? The Clash?

Now a preview for that Harlots programme has come on. No analogy, as far as I can see. but Cannonball by The Breeders was playing.

It used to be fun when they started putting groovy tunes on Match of the Day. It's tedious now.
