Re: pots and kettles, you can criticise Gregg Wallace saying ‘cooking doesn’t get any tougher than this’ when you can cook 500 different meals in a six hour period. Or are you pretending that sitting in front of a keyboard tapping out a bit of sarcasm qualifies you to lecture the rest of the world on what constitutes hard graft?

People gleeful at being able to complain about neighbours who play music. People gleeful at being able to complain about neighbours having a barbecue. The same sort of people who'd probably like children to be shut away in silence, then who'd also complain that you never see children playing on the street any more and they watch too much tv. Then who'd also complain about 20 mph speed limits put in to make it safer for children who do play out and so on. You know exactly what sort of person - the typical selfish, never-satisfied, nit-picking, fault-finding, world-loathing, would-complain-if-they-won-the-lottery-at-all-the-money-they-had-to-carry Daily Mail reader.

Run out of bottles to throw from the back I see, Mr Littlejohn. Funny really - if Mr Hunt had been a Labour MP and Gordon Brown had been the one letting him off the hook to save his own skin, we'd have probably had at least two indignation-filled columns from you by now demanding his head and the PMs head, and underlining the shocking sleaze and incompetence of those in high office. But the Minister for News Corp (Con.) takes the stand and reveals his astonishing bias and dubious dealings, that the chancellor was tinkering with a controversial media takeover, and further to cover his own backside the PM then ignores the evidence and says Hunt acted properly (!) , and not a peep. Still, you keep on at the real issues eh - those fictitious health and safety stories and snide digs at women won't write themselves!

Morning Mr. Littlejohn. So the ElfnSafety brigade can bring their full weight to bear in order to protect schoolchildren from any adverse effects of having a paddle in the sea. Shame they are not so eficient in protecting schoolgirls from being preyed on outside the school gates by adults plying them with drugs and luring them into sex and prostitution. Of course, political correctness doesn't apply to the sea.
