Are your neighbours middle-class cocaine addicts like me?

I don't know, I must remember to ask next time I drop by for tea. Given that my neighbour is 93 and her husband worked as a hospital porter, I suspect this is a question to which the answer is no. I'm sure she won't mind me asking, though.

Reading this article suggests to me that those who use illegal substances are mentally weak and have something missing in their lives. I'm a professional that works long hours for a big company but I have never been tempted to take anything illegal. To unwind, I play sports or go for a long walk with my camera. To some that may be boring but as I can resist the "temptation" of drugs, I can't have a high opinion of anyone who takes them.

Not boring, but sanctimonious.

I posted a comment that my neighbours are working class and can only afford skunk and crack on their benefits, but it hasn't appeared. :(

Never mind Greece, Ireland has been beggared by Brussels and the euro... so is this the day the Irish will seize their chance to get off their knees and fight back?

SIMON HEFFER asks, will a country that spent the best part of a millennium trying to break from British shackles today accept the strict European Union fiscal treaty and its stringent financial rules that will force them to adopt more of the same from Brussels?

Looks like yes they would, 60:40...

I thought I heard the result of this referendum was academic. It will only take 12 countries to say yes and it's a shoo-in.

Is your child a psychopath? It's more common than you think - and you can spot the danger signs as young as three

The list being titled "tell tale signs" is a bit irresponsible. Many of them are exaggerated normal behaviours (how many of you ran away as a kiddo? Pretended to not care if you hurt someone even if you did care? Failed to take responsibility or blamed others? Liking new or dangerous activities on occasion? Just me? I must be a psycho). I could totally see some parents projecting this list onto a child who is troubled (but not a psychopath). I could totally see very dysfunctional adults exhibiting number 7 and trying to get their child "treated". I am totally not anti-psychiatry. I just don't think that this should be in the realm of pop-psychology.

I really hope Sarah's one of those Walter Mitty posters who adopts whatever career seems to lend most gravitas to their posting.
There are several concerning things here if she s a real primary teacher:
Long rambling unstructured sentence.
Signing off "Anon" followed by name and location. (May have something to do with hos the Mail's website works).
Doesn't seem to like kids much.
Ridiculous hyperbole.

You could add her catastrophic failure to differentiate between a psychopath and a serial killer to that list Bones.
