Normally when I click on the mail's webshite I get the US home page and I have to click on UK home to see the UK news.

There is a reason for this.

The Daily Mail Sets Sail: Fleet Street Fishwrap Takes America

Quote:
To hear Martin Clarke tell it, The Daily Mail accrued its online readership in America nearly by accident. Lining a landing page with paparazzi shots headlined with expressions of awe and outrage, making the bikini a newsworthy event—that was not transatlantic outreach, just British custom. “Originally we focused ruthlessly on our British audience because that was the easiest to monetize,” said the publisher and editor of the paper’s website, MailOnline, “but we found we’d ended up with a big American audience without really trying.”

I guess that may well be a deliberately ironic statement. As the supreme court made this decision.

If it wasn't ironic well.

1) Aren't you lot lucky.
2) What the fuck is he doing in the UK with its free healthcare?

Woman, 24, 'seduced boy, 15, in tanning room as his mom worked out in the gym'

Quote:
It drives me nuts the hear people refer to a thing like this as a case of "Double Standards" Hogwash! its apples and oranges you fools! If a young girl is having a sexual relationship with an older male there is the strong possibility that she may have been the victim of intimidation. But I truly do not know a single young boy who would not jump at this chance, and the idea that he might suffer long term (or short term for that matter) issues resulting from the encounter is also hogwash. He would be elated for months to come and would be, if anything, the recilient of a dramatic increase in social standing amomg his peers. Any boy who would be "Damaged phycologicaly from such an experience is likley to already be suffering some imballance and would probably suffer the same issues if he waited until he was 40 to have sex. Sexual repression in the western world in particular is rampent and growing due to the unatural tendancy for this culture to demonize the very concept of sex.

Snooki, SpongeBob, and the South Park gang are back! DirecTV to restore Viacom channels to 20M customers after nine-day blackout over contract dispute

It seems as if the Mail Online's US page is now trying to directly chase US customers by providing articles of no relevance to British readers.
