I've got a feeling Clarkson is in their sights and the last few articles are the build up to their earth shattering revelations about his finances.

I think that's just the warm up. I may be wrong, it's just that Clarkson certainly doesn't seem to be a popular figure in the Daily Mail and I'm expecting a Jimmy Carr type public hanging article about him. Although I get the impression Clarkson will not be giving a grovelling apology if it does happen.

That's what annoys the D M even more, the fact that virtually whatever they do he'll say "So what?" and most of his fans will do likewise.

There was an article in Private Eye a couple of months back. There's a Head of IT and a Head of HR who are using the same payment method. They both work at HMRC.

There was an anti BBC article yesterday, pointing out that there are more staff working on London 2012 than worked on Beijing.

Then the last line pointed out that one US network is sending over four times the entire allocated BBC staff to cover the event.

Amazingly, the dead tree edition contained a letter telling the Mail how it was being stupid about the number of BBC staff. Apparently, the Germans have been praising the BBC on how efficient it is.

Right. I think they call it offering good value for the license fee, or some other lefty claptrap.

Given that as host broadcaster they have to provide a feed of every event...
