What sport are those finely-toned members of 'TeamGB' competing in? Darts?

Judging by their red noses, those athletes would struggle to pass a drugs test for alcohol.

Whatever your views on the olympics, you've got to admit that MC Escher's Aquatics centre is an outstanding design.

That strange and alien architecture convinces me that the aquatic centre is in fact R'lyeh, and Great Cthulhu is sleeping within.

And yet another flock of squaddies in the frame .....

I've just had the horrible realisation that PT is geared up to produce three solid weeks worth of utterly shit, forced-joke Olympic-themed cartoons.

Crispin Flange has already gone on a sabbatical. I may join him.

We've got two very long weeks of this to get through haven't we? I mean PT cartoons, not the Games.

It took me a moment to realise that the sign in the distance said 'Olympic park', and not 'Olympic pooh'.

Which would of course be a rare moment of self-awareness from PT.

The ECB will be breathing a sigh of relief though, that the Euro will have a respite from Paul Thomas's daily blowtorch of fierce satire.

Ukrainian red chested grebe, far left. Doesn't PT realise that this bird never reaches these shores because the flocks are shot to bits by blood crazed Frenchies?

The corgis appear to have had a dirty protest on the floor. And why do the London Eye and Big Ben seem to have chunks missing from them between the top of the wall and the window divider thing?

Oh yeah, shit cartoonist. That's why again.
