What's the story - did they just notice the interest rate is at 0.5%?

Pravda-esque bollocks. No room for any mention of Merv King's latest dire economic forecast? I am surprised.

Bob Hoskins and his family look like they have been told that they've just inherited Steve Jobs's millions. They certainly look extremely happy.

The Express's photo editor ought to be sacked.

Does this mean the end of the Twins sequel rumour?

Or maybe not....

The headline's reminiscent of a gag in one of the old HIGNFY books about Martin Lewis and positive news stories, suggesting "Joy for glaziers after bomb rocks city of London". As for the Trott/Harry story (fair enough, it's the Express, they'll always go for a royal angle) it's a pity she's dating one of the other Team GB athletes.

Sad news on Bobo, although he's not really done much in the last few years. Still, will be a good excuse to watch the Adam and Joe Bob Hoskins sketch again*.

*The one with the song with the immortal lyrics "Roger me rabbit, long me good Friday, Mona me Lisa, apples and pears" as he dances through a cockernee market, dressed as a Dickensian character.

What's with the "an Usain did well too" bit? He's not one of "Britain's wonder women".

What's with the excitement about statins? They're not exactly new, are they, and I thought their purpose had always been to assist in prolonging life?

Bolt's Jamaican, speaks English and does ads for Virgin. So as far as the tabs are concerned, technically British. And as far as some of the righter-wing commentators are concerned, an attitude that can be extended to all of Jamaica (as long as they all stay over there).
