It took me a while to fill in the ***s. The article feels like it's written in obscure code:

p****? Given the context that's got to be penis. If she had said 'Deep-veined purple-helmeted spartan of love' then I could understand it.

The inconsistency threw me for a while. I am correct in thinking "w***e" and "wh***" are the same word aren't I?
