I think they're seriously implying that 'we' are being 'taken over'.

As I said: Cunts.

Well, well, well.

Farmers warned not to sell lambs to Muslims who want them for religious sacrifice

Here we go...

Quote:
Muslims are asking farmers to illegally slaughter animals as part of their Eid celebrations. Environmental health chiefs are warning farmers against the illicit practice after one was approached by a group of Muslims wanting to ritually sacrifice 40 lambs. Mr Davies, who has a sign outside his Preston Road farm saying "Lambs For Sale" said he was disgusted when he was approached by the men. "On Sunday at 4pm two different Asian men came to the door saying they wanted live lambs to slaughter. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I was gobsmacked because it's just so barbaric."

Ah, but isn't there one law for 'them' and quite another for 'us'?*

*The answer's no, in case you were wondering.

Here we are folks it's Christmas Eve & the Mail is still stirring the shit. They must be very proud of themselves.

No, because they don't have freedom of religion/speech whereas we do. You nonce.

I'm pretty sure the Mail won't report that.

Barclaycard chief forced to quit after making 'joke' about Muslims

Man makes joke in staff meeting, people complain, man sacked. Seems an over-reaction to me but the Mail readers are loving it.

Sorry, I can't see why the guy should lose his job because of this. But then again, it's one rule for us and another for the Muslims eh?

So the PC Brigade win again, are the Muslims so thin skinned that they can't stand a joke. We are becoming a nation of ninnies.

I like this one as you don't hear 'ninnies' enough IMO.

What's funny is that Barclaycard made this decision all on their lonesome. No Muslims were involved, at least not publicly. Yet the Mail commenters blame the Muslims for being offended. Tools.

Difficult call for Mail Readers I should imagine. On the hand, the coursening of modern culture with someone saying (in effect) shite; on the other hand PCGONEMAD.

Interesting one. I thought the joke was pretty nasty, myself. However, recently, Private Eye did "Weather Forecast for Iraq - Sunni in parts, Shi'ite elsewhere..." which I thought was funny. Seems that, as with anything in comedy, careful wording is the key. And not taking an totally unrequired stab at people who have ntohing to do with it, of course.

Context is everything. Anyone reading Private Eye has to expect a certain amount of taboo bashing. On the other hand talking out loud in a public meeting; one has to be prepared to modify your speech.

It's rather like I wouldn't expect to go into a Jim Davidson gig and not hear offensive jokes. On the other hand, if Jim Davidson went out into the streets and said the same material in the local asian shop, I'd be the first to criticise him.
