Ok there’s a legitimate debate to be had over the proportionate levels of airport security, but is this man seriously suggesting that one of Al Qaeda goals is to slightly inconvenience westerners at the airport?

To be brutally frank, if any airport security person is obliged to gaze at a security scan picture of me in the Harry Hood then that's their bloody problem. I almost feel a bit sorry for them. :shock:

It's remarkable to see the outraged comments of the Mail-ites on this one.

Given that Twitter has been one of the main driving forces behind yesterdays assault on both Jan Moir and the Mail in general, the cynic in me would say that this piece has been hastily cobbled together to try and dissuade their readership from taking it seriously.

I borrowed your idea, comments are unmoderated. The fact there are any comments is strange as it is a murder enquiry. Perhaps transexuals do not count as people in the Mail world.

The Mail is right. We should be absolutely appalled at these machines.

They strip you down without your consent or choice. It's humiliating and potentially wank-fodder for someone.
