Nah. She's Rampant in Rottingdean, not Priapic in Peacehaven.

One of those stories which can only confuse Mailites:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... -help.html

Maybe Facebook isn't the devil's work after all? Does - not - compute ---

There was a quote from the police on that article in the Metro that balances out the story that is unsurprisingly missing from the Mail.

Quote:
So after all that, including doing the Police's work for them the thug got 120 hours community service. Wow, I bet that really scared her into not doing it again. The whole justice system is a joke.

Do read the article, it says that the victim asked police to come and see her the next day, which they did? She took it upon herself in the meantime to track the offender on facebook. She did not do the polices job for them they did their job when she asked them too. Most police forces do not allow their officers access to facebook on work computers anyway.

oh facebook is just small potatos now, the real issue is THE INTERNET ITSELF IS LITERALLY MELTING YOUR BRAAAIIIINS!

that or, you know, it's not.

comments are divided (probably cause the artical has been posted on quite a few blogs now, both science blogs, and "omg the future is killing us!" blogs) i like edd here:

I've heard all about the female RE teacher who seduced a 15 year old boy in her class. However only in the Fail have I heard the Facebook angle

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... olboy.html

Married RE teacher Madeleine Martin jailed after seducing schoolboy, 15, on Facebook

Quote:
A married teacher who had sex with one of her 15-year-old pupils after seducing him on Facebook has been jailed.

She began giving him gifts, including a mobile phone, and contacting him on Facebook.

One of Martin's messages read: 'Sorry, I cannot add you [as a friend on the website] until you leave school.'

Martin also tried to get the boy into her form at the Manchester school and wrote 'Don't worry, I always got your back' after she lied on his behalf when he missed detention.

Quote:
Martin, from Knutsford in Cheshire, then changed her identity on Facebook to hide their growing relationship and invited the boy to her home where they again had sex while her two teenage daughters, aged 14 and 17, were out.

They're making out its Facebook's direct fault in the headline, but its a natural avenue of communication these days and shows in the article. Blaming Facebook makes them look more redundant and out of touch than they already are
