I have seen a few of his posts, he has managed to use capital letters for his name today , so that's an improvement. But really, what kind of a tosser has a doctorate and yet spews this kind of diabolical shit? oh I know, a Walter Mitty type of Dr.
His posts make me wish a teacher would come along with a big red pen!

Oh please - not another TV type 'outing' themselves. well good for her. congratulations.

i dont mean to be cynical but why is it some gay people seem to need to parade their sexuality around. there is a certain conceit and smugness about the whole thing. 'look at me - im gay' . well im pleased she is happy. but to be honest. most of us dont care.

gay rights campaigners are always banging on about the fact that being gay is no big thing. i agree. thats why i dont 'announce' the fact i am straight all the time. it doesnt matter what you are. so if Jane Hil is out as a lesbian. well im glad you are at peace with yourself (even if you dated blokes in the past - no doubt you were confused then - but now you are not) but why not take a tip from the rest of us. keep your private life private. if it doesnt matter if you are gay. then dont tell everyone. otherwise you might make people think you are grandstanding. and that would never do.

very rich from a man who clearly feels the need to "announce"* that he's a doctor in order to add wight to his argument.

...not that it worked, he's obviously a dick.

*far more than jane hill has anyway.

Sorry ladies, he's married!

What kind of tool uses their real name AND location when leaving comments anywhere online?! (hint: try googling "kevin law" dundee)

To his credit, he does admit he's politically "confused" on his Facebook page.

Exactly how do you know this person isn't using a pseudonym?

He appears all over the net as Dr Kevin Law, if he wants to call himself Attila the Hun that is OK by me, it is just the fact that he uses the Dr in an attempt to big himself up.
Some blokes have big cars to compensate for a little part of their anatomy, I wonder if he did very badly at school in the real world.

Are you suggesting there's a "John Smith of Birmingham"-style mass impersonation that's been going on for the past 3+ years at least?

For example, here:

and here
http://www.hyscience.com/archives/2006/09/on_the_unreason.php (quotes from the Mail in 2006)

Even if there's more than one Kevin Law in Dundee, it seems unlikely that they'd all have such similar viewpoints.

Looks like he might be a trainspotter as well:

Well, I can only speak for myself but I use many different pseudonyms, adopting different styles and espousing different points of view. In fact, I have been quoted a few times on this forum in various guises as being an example of a typical DM cunt. I treat the whole thing as a game and never mean what I say.

However, that is just me, and I have strange ideas as to what constitutes "fun". You are probably right in thinking of Dr Law as a real person.

I sometimes wonder if any of the comments are by 'real' people.
There have been times, I am sure, when we have outnumbered the genuine Mailites, given that there are other groups out there doing as we do. I have sometimes got a dozen or so comments in under different names.

I'm quite happy using pseudonyms but I could never write from a Mailite point of view. I just can't do that, I don't take it seriously but I think there are enought real life arseholes on the Mail without pretending to be one of their bigotted band, but whatever floats your boat.

It's a hard ethical decision to make, whether or not to comment ironically or to confront directly. We know that however often we explode the attitudes of Mailites by satirising their points of view their lack of self-awareness wil never allow them to see the point we are making, let alone change their so-called 'minds'.

True story:
Malcolm Armsteen began his career in 1969, writing outraged letters (on real paper!) to the Sunderland Echo about the activities of students in the town. He carried on writing to the Sutton and Cheam Herald in the 70s and 80s on a wide range of matters, always outraged, but 'retired' when he wrote a letter suggesting that the real problem of dogs fouling the local children's playground was not in the training of the dogs, but the training of the children. So many people wrote in agreeing with him that he felt that irony was no longer possible.

Then he discovered MailWatch! Oh Joy!

Sometimes he mails as himself, sometimes as other names, usually alliterative. But still feels that irony is difficult in the face of such overwhelming twatbasketry. So sometimes it is better to be merely mischievous, mendacious or malign.

Oh, and he's also Malcolm Armsteen II as Site Admin is consistently ignoring his messages!

I used to do a bit of trolling under the name Edna Welthorpe, the pseudonym used for similar practices by by the great Joe Orton.

to all those on this forum sneering at people like me that have a go at the Met Office.

my problem with the Met Office is they spend their whole time confidently telling us that they able to accurately predict the climate for 2050 - but cant get their predictions right for the next day. yet they use the same computer models for BOTH predictions.

to me - thats hubris

so all the time the Met Office carry on pretending they can make long term forecasts when they cant even manage short term ones - then i will carry on having a go at them

and as for the snide remark about comparing our situation in the snow to the devastation in Haiti - well the Met Office spends £170 million a year on climate change modelling on computers. perhaps that money might better be spent on helping those who have no clean water to drink or food to eat in under developed countries

If we ignore climate change, the poor people in the Third World that he's pretending to give a shit about will end up being a lot worse off.

Imagine the fucking uproar amongst Mail readers if Brown announced tomorrow that he was closing down the Met Office and giving all the taxpayers' cash to the third world instead.

My bet is on a mail order Ph.D. from one of those American religious universities.

In that case I'm guessing this isn't him then:
