As ever, the comments are putrid, but enlightening.

I see
File not found (404 error)
That got pulled quickly.
In fact it looks as through the entire site is down.
Using google to see if there was a cached version (doesn't appear to be one) and it indicates that the site may have been hacked. Not surprising given how vile a lot of the content appears to have been. If it has been, best of luck to the hackers I say.

And they're the ones saying how terrible it is that we're politicising it.

I had another dip into Conservative home.
They're unhappy with Theresa May's portrayal throughout the tragedy.
* Mainstream media isn't dancing to their tune - Boo hoo.
* Displaced survivors are described as "Thugs".
* Any non conservative politician is "Showboating".
* Leftwing national broadcaster is conducting "Attack interviews".

It's soooo unfair.

Met have just released pictures and footage of the inside of Grenfell. How anyone got out at all is a miracle.

Announcement of new figures tomorrow. Final figure of 160+ being banded about by many on Twitter in the area following conversations with firemen, but with any luck that's just the usual nonsense that Twitter can generate.

Hopefully.

Sad thing is and it's the first time I saw it raised in a very good post by Robert Peston, there are victims who don't exist on anything official, who were there and no longer are alive and yet they just remain on a "missing persons" list.

As for Iain Dale how is Theresa May doing with her 110 majority you so painstakingly reviewed.

Good point. The roster of residents is one thing, but how many people were having friends over, hosting fast-breaking meals, etc?

And of course lots could have been at breakfasts in other places, or away with relatives abroad.

And with much cheaper housing in London how many were not sub letting or not recorded as residents.

Hearing that Grenfell Tower survivors not wanting to be rehoused elsewhere eg in Preston (over 200 miles away) are being threatened (1/3)

Replying to @DavidLammy
(2/3) with being declared "intentionally homeless", which in reality means the council won't help them get rehoused. Absolutely despicable.

(3/3). Intentionally homeless = the council does not have legal duty to rehouse you. How can your home burning down = intentionally homeless

That's been talked about for a few days. Is there anybody on the record saying this is what's happened?

But as you say, appalling if true.

You are deemed to be "intentionally homeless" if you refuse a reasonable offer of accomodation. The key word is "reasonable". I'd say that an offer of housing in Preston certainly is not reasonable, but that may be an extreme example.
