Sky News: Boris Johnson faces the threat of a no-confidence vote.

But can he hang on indefinitely after the vote and can a PM be changed without an election?
Let's see Sky News...
What were you reporting on one whole fortnight ago.

Do you take your viewers for cretins?

No. He has neither the warmth nor the depth.

He's got the lips, though.

Imagine the scenario.

You're sitting there in Downing Street at 07:50, having told the partner and kids that their holiday has been cancelled, and Alexa from the quali agency breathlessly rushes herself in with the photocopied results from the hurriedly pasted together focus groups in the marginals.

"Ten bob bits and prisons, and chucking the darkies out unless they are on the 39k minimum wage."

(I really don't want to be forced in to becoming a Kraut but I am increasingly feeling left with little option.)

It's the Trump route.

Constantly on he campaign train (when he should be governing).
Traps for doddery old Uncle Jez to hilariously fall into.
Playing to the worse prejeudices of the mid-market tabloids.
Sufficient dead cats to keep the serious commentators shackled to their typewriters.

But these traps can be at the level of Wile E. Coyote stupidity, except instead of them backfiring on Johnson, Uncle Jez falls for everyone. Or just falls into his own first.

Grouse hunting. Yes there it is an issue there, but hands up if anyone can think of a slightly more pressing issue current issue.

In fairness that £39k nonsense is IDS's think tank. That won't happen.
