Carrie Symonds appears to be trending on Twitter at the moment with lots of rumours suggesting that she has driven yet another adviser out of Number 10. Hopefully Lady Macbeth's behaviour will finally prove to be Johnson's undoing.
Hmmmmm...what tangled turds they weave...

I understand "sonic" (Cos he's a prick and on the outside) is one of Cumming's acolytes.

I'd pay good money to watch a royal rumble between the Dork and the Rupert adviser tendencies.
Maybe we could televise it, like a second royal It's a knockout.

It is not really clear at the moment whether or not Carrie Symonds is Boris Johnson's partner or just another Downing Street staffer. While she occasionally appears in the odd photo-opportunity with Boris the relationship looks increasingly like the relationship between Trump and Melania.

Interesting couple of paragraphs in the Guardian's report...
No 10 has been beset by bitter internal power struggles in recent months, most dramatically the departure in November of Cummings, Johnson’s chief aide, shortly after the resignation of another Vote Leave alumnus, the then head of communications, Lee Cain.

Those departures were spurred after Cain’s promotion to chief of staff was blocked by Johnson’s fiancee, Carrie Symonds. The loss of Lewis is also likely to be seen as connected to the continued tussles for influence inside No 10.

The concubines have taken over the asylum. Or something.

A few did point out that it was odd that when doing the Captain Tom clap, they were pictured outside Downing Street in socially distanced mode considering they're supposed to be in the same household.

All chatter about the upcoming wedding certainly vanished, didn't it?

And you'd have thought that Number Ten would plug that for all it was worth during the pandemic - Johnson being a regular, Man of the People chap who just wanted to get married, just like the rest of you.

Last week I observed that they were distanced in a Downing street photo-op.

Mind you people seem to be doing that in pictures for good optics.
See last weekends Rugby: Distanced the length of the field for the anthems; 2 minutes later they're into a 16 man rolling maul.

Given that she's seemingly working her way through the conservative party like a 90s yoof TV presenter through the premier league, and he's chasing after any posh totty he can see, my guess is that a) they're made for each other, and b) both see the other as essentially a prop.
