Quite a few Tories were posting pictures on twitter at the weekend because they were doing some kind of doorstep campaign all the tweets tried emphasise that there were lots of young Tories but most of the young people who featured in the pictures looked like they were eighteen going on fifty.

They've got a big demographic problem- not just young people but appalling performance among ethnic minorities (except Jews and Indians, though they still trail Labour among them).

Corbyn deserves credit for going for young people's votes in a way Miliband didn't.
