Possibly. Might be named after Cato Minor.
I don't see any "Cato the Younger" on thei letterheads.
So I think we're free to draw our own conclusions.

See also the Hitler fan club.
Could be Jimmy Hitler who drives the 38 bus.
But probably not.

In the unlikely event you've got this far and not ripped your own face off in anguish and despair, can I encourage you to follow (and if possible, donate to) @GoodLawProject, a group of ethical lawyers attempting to hold the govt to account in the courts.

Thanks

Jackson Carlaw has thrown in the towel as leader of the Scottish Tories.

"not, in the present circumstances, the person best placed" to lead the case for Scotland remaining part of the UK
.

Christ on a bike. That is beyond belief!

Jackson Carlaw isn't "the person best placed" to make the case for the union.

Why? Is it because there are others who are far more competent or because he simply doesn't believe in it any more?

Anyway, let's lock down Manchester.

This is the leader of the Tories on the GLA.

This terrifying Marxist campaign consists of one letter to a parish council.

And guess what? It's not a war memorial, as you'd imagine it, like the stone crosses put up in every town/village- about which it seems the letter writer isn't bothered. It's a silhouette of a soldier put up in 2018, to mark the centenary of the end of WW1- loads of them were put up across the country. And the Parish councillors, while disagreeing with the letter's characterization of it, are clear that it wasn't intended to be permanent. But it sounds like the statue will remain.

If that's a slope, it's not a very slippery one.

She also retweeted this. And other "this is anti-car" stuff.

There don't seem to be all that many cars either really. Nor indeed bikes in the established cycle lane in the park. Is there something else happening at the moment?

Good God, I think there is!
A new cycle lane has been installed in Park Lane as part of efforts to rapidly expand London's cycling network.

Bollards have been added to the west London road to create segregation between cyclists and other road users.

It is part of mayor Sadiq Khan’s London Streetspace programme, which includes the rapid construction of a strategic cycling network using temporary infrastructure to reduce crowding on Tubes, trains and buses.
