Right, first of all, connectivity is pretty much essential these days. The cheapest way of achieving this is to use a mobile phone. A phone contract can be sourced for about £10 a month for a no frills deal. Cheaper than a landline, a laptop, or an iPad. Internet cafes closed down years ago, and access via public libraries is very limited, even if you take CV-19 distancing rules out of the equation.
They are not luxuries. They are also not your property to sell. You are leasing them from the provider.
