Most people who realise they can’t do the new job they’ve secured go home feeling terrible in their gut at how they’re letting down their colleagues. Rees Mogg wouldn’t even break a sweat.

I see JRM wanted the house to debate bullying claims.....its a matter for the Houses internal procedures and existing employment legislation. What is the fucking point of MP's debating it, its not as if they have got any more important issues they should be concerning themselves with.

No he isn't. He knows that the effect of this would be that many victims would be deterred from reporting, and that his baying shitheads would follow the whip on any case and defend their pals to the hilt. Less cases, harder time for the victims, confused issues, voting on party lines ("There's no compulsion, but this is how the whips are voting...) and the cruel dissection of the witnesses.

All good from his point of view.
