I don't get how Rees Mogg hasn't hurt the Tories more. The lying, the obnoxiousness, the farce with voting, the lying about on the benches. I know lots of the public likes posh "characters" but it normally expects them to be able to do serious or inspiring.

Because our expectations are lower now. We know they're venal, corrupt and arrogant, but they're wrapped in the Union Jack and that's all that matters.

Jacob Rees Mogg Makes Billions From No Deal Brexit
Jacob Rees-Mogg will make £Billions for himself and his friends while British people suffer the hardship of a No Deal Brexit. He is the Leader of the House of Commons, in control of the law making body that is negotiating Brexit and astoundingly, he will directly profit from a #NoDealBrexit.

More than that, I will show you with evidence beyond reasonable doubt that Jacob Rees-Mogg and Conservative donors have lied to us in order to engineer a No Deal Brexit to drive the UK into poverty for the sole purpose of making private profits. This is a price that Great Britain should not have to pay. We absolutely need a Free Trade Deal with the EU.

Although some of the abhorrent things that Jacob Rees-Mogg has done may be technically legal, they drive a horse and carriage through the spirit of the law and they are, without a doubt, wholly unethical and unbecoming of a British lawmaker. Jacob Rees-Mogg should be removed from office immediately...

Remember that bit of the Bible where Christ said "Break the law to worship me in exactly the way you want"?

What deterrence will a fine have on the likes of Mogg.

I’m surprised his estate doesn’t have a chapel, and his own personal Jesuit.
And it’s the nutter squad that will do anything to get to a Latin mass, wouldn’t surprise me that he’s a member of Agnus Dei

I've a solution. For all MPs and high ranking Government advisors who are found guilty of breaking the rules that they vote for or advocate that the country follows, they have their pictures permanently put up on a big screen behind Johnson or whoever is conducting the daily (occasional?) Downing St televised briefing, with the ticker at the bottom of our tv screen stating which rule they broke. If they resign (for a by-election in MPs cases) beforehand there's no need for their photo to go up. So off the top of my head there would have been Cummings for a while, Jenrick, Ferguson, Rees-Mogg, Ferrier. That's just off the top of my head. The big problem is none of these hypocrites ever make it as far as court.
