The second Raab tweet is even odder than the first. Is it normal for the foreign secretary to tweet about a losing candidate having "fought hard"?

I think it's likely to be an attempt at diplomatically acknowledging the feelings of the almost half of the US that voted for Trump again this time around.
Given that the red states get a massively disproportionate say in the makeup of the senate, it's probably prudent.
