No more confident smug Raab as he now looks like a schoolboy petrified by a haunting. I'm enjoying every minute of it. I read there is NATO frustration at Turkey after Erdogan appointed thick as shit sycophants to replace generals who actually knew stuff. That's the low level of good governance this country has now descended into.

It seems to be a trope that Brexiters are really blase about shit until they actually see it, at which point they're like Nazis looking into the Ark of the Covenant.

The paperbacks have never had their spines spread.

Which of these tomes has even been opened, let alone read? Except that one, bottom-left, what is it? A bloke with a tie peddling self-discovery at an airport WH Smiff's?

Questions, questions.

"The Prime Minister" Peter Hennessy (must be remaindered by now)
"Total Recall - How Direct Democracy Can Improve Britain" Nick Cowen
"Papers" Hugo Young
"King Hussein" - several possibilities
"Nixon" Jonathan Aitken
"Virtual History" Niall Ferguson (joke...)
"The Reagan Diaries" Big Ronnie (allegedly)
"Ronald Reagan" Jacob Weinsburg
"Reaganomics: The Roots of Neoliberalism" Stefano di Lorenzo

A rather indicative reading list...

Yep. Here's Raab being advised that leaving the EU might lead to more red tape, not less.

Fair play to him, he's only had two years to get his head round it. By the look of him as he made his presentation last week he finally came to terms with it a couple of hours before he stepped in front of the cameras.
