Because he's holding out for some kind of offer, probably. Dr. Fox does nothing for nothing. Boris may or may not have realised his slots for dodgy dealing corrupt assholes are pretty well over-subscribed.

Sajid Javid supporter, Simon Hoare MP, saying in each round you "start from scratch". Yeah, I mean, Boris Johnson would swap places with "Saj" right now.

Javid is good because his life shows the power of "positive thinking". Deutsche Bank must have a bigger graduate training programme than I thought.

Why is Liam Fox supporting Hunt and not Johnson?
My guess is that as all 3 (Johnson, Hunt, Fox) are all malicious, self-serving, Trump arse lickers, with it now clear Chief Twat is getting the top job, the real powers that be want Hunt in as No2, and part of the tactic is that Fox has been offered something, so not to make it too obvious he's supporting Hunt......does that sound a bit too tin-foil hat?

The Guardian view on Tory leadership and the constitution: a crisis in the making
Theresa May’s already flimsy mandate is now being handed to a successor chosen only by party members

PHILIP HAMMOND today warns Boris Johnson he will have to trigger a second referendum or Election unless he gets real about Brexit.

In an incendiary intervention the Chancellor insists a future Conservative PM will have to “explore other democratic mechanisms” if they cannot develop a credible plan to break the deadlock.

And in a thinly veiled attack against the bookies’ odds-on favourite, Mr Hammond will demand Tory leadership contenders “be honest with the public” about the trade-offs required to deliver Brexit. https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/brexit/93 ... s-johnson/

That's not the face of a man in an optimistic mood

Right, only one option left.

I am now favouring the full "crash and burn" scenario.

And I hate myself for this, but for the first time in my life I am thinking about emigrating. Which on another forum I frequent would be met with "off you go then, we don't want foreigners like you here anyway."
