It's obvious that they'll spin and bluster and lie their way out of this one because Cummings is far too important to be thrown to the wolves, and the fanboys will holler "Fake news!!!" and life will go on as before.

And maybe, just maybe, a few scales will fall from a few eyes and we'll be able to show that there really is one rule for them.

This circus isn’t leaving town for a while yet as the PM and Dom aren’t just offending Muslim letterbox women but the whole population.

Bollocks. All the Tory voters, Classic Liberals and pseudo-intellectual civil liberties twats will see nothing in this. Were it still allowed, this'd be tomorrow's chip papers.

Whilst the cabinet and the usual suspects have rallied to defend Cummings the likes of Tim Montgomery and Julia Hartley-Brewer have both come out and stuck the knife into Cummings so hopefully this story will run for awhile. I wonder which sad sap will be put up for today's briefing. My money would be on Alok Sharma he has been very good at giving non-answers for the last few weeks.

If PMQs were happening on Wednesday, would it be worth Starmer’s while to mention this or is it too nascent and abstract?

Why do you think the news has come out now, whilst the lazy cunts are in recess?
Would this be the best time? Cummings may think it would be for with the public, but the Tories are going to be chatting in their private Whatsapp groups plotting and Johnson is going to be too lazy to defend anything.
Plus if Starmer brings it up at PMQs the story starts up again.

They're not offending their voters; if anything this just reinforces the 'biased media' image. And even if they were, so what? They're shameless, they have an unsinkable majority and they have another 4 1/2 years in power.

They’re among the baseline of the Tory vote (early 30s). Will millions who are sick to the back teeth of lock down but did their duty like Vera Lynn forget about Cummings by the end of the week?

Yes.

After all, "Who cares about good looks? It's a question of doing the right thing. It's not about what you guys think."
