Christ Almighty, some of these overnight polls make for some bloody scary reading from a Labour perspective. Looks like they are receiving very little credit for helping the country avoid a No Deal catastrofuck last week. The worry being, imminent GE notwithstanding, that the likes of Milne & McCluskey will point to these sorts of numbers as evidence of Labour flogging a dead horse when it comes to backing a 2nd referendum etc.
This could still play out extremely badly if the Tories successfully manage to frame the next GE as a "Scapegoat Election", i.e. shamelessly playing the blame game for the non-delivery of Brexit at the end of October.
