(an old Trot trick).
Coming in late, or not being able to come in late?
Turning up late in order to start a row. See also droning on and on so that others leave and the cult get to vote a load of stuff through in their absence.

I'm not saying that we're taking our status as a top fifty marginal seriously, but Jack Straw just drove over from Blackburn and spent three hours canvassing with us.

He reckoned at the start that he was looking forward to getting out of a safe constituency and meeting a diversity of views.

I'm not sure if he felt the same way afterwards. There're only so many Mail and S*n editorials you can hear regurgitated before you start losing the will to live.

Sitting through a CLP post mortem of this GE is going to be like spending a day in Arkham Asylum.* Other then sticking around to vote for a sane successor to Corbyn I'm done with this shit.

* Extremely crazy place in the fictitious city of Gotham where Batman resides.

If I was Labour and wanting votes from "liberals", I'd be rather playing down the manifesto. Because lots of liberals probably don't like it and don't fancy their vote being counted as a "vote for radical socialist change".
A certain former poster on this very forum made it clear that the last thing Labout wants is votes from liberals.

The Corbynista paradox - wanting to blame people who they told repeatedly to fuck off and support someone else for being disloyal because they fucked off and supported someone else.

About two words long there, in my opinion.
