So they do, the Bob Servant and Carla Bruni of Rochdale

Perhaps the Polish sounding name will be popular with local EU immigrants. Before Simon and Karen pull the rug from under their feet on the way out.

She's been slugging it out with her family all day on twitter. The family members have now protected their tweets but aren't happy that Karen's mother is being described by her as 'promiscuous and heartless', object to her claim that she's the only sibling who'd been educated and achieved in life and that they are downmarket (they all seem to have jobs), and deny that the 5 kids were neglected. They also make the claim that her father's supportive quotes about her in the newspapers were not given by him to the journalists, but supplied by Karen.

Interestingly they also make the claim that this twitter account is an anonymous one used by both Simon and Karen. https://twitter.com/Lazer_Light23" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The Danczuks have organised a more sympathetic interview with the Metropolitan liberal elite Guardian
Simon and Karen Danczuk : We’ll keep telling it like it is on welfare, immigration and the liberal elite
On immigration, Karen says Rochdale is at the “end of its tether”. Simon adds: “The liberal intelligentsia, this north London liberal elite, don’t have to live with the problem. Proportionally there are more asylum seekers in Rochdale than in London.”

And immigration? A rich country like the UK should take in asylum seekers and economic migrants, Simon argues. But Rochdale’s cheap housing makes it a magnet. “I do feel that the strains and stresses being put on a relatively small town is unfair. It is all about fairness.”
So the asylum seekers have taken up all the cheap accommodation have they? http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-to- ... 0&index=10" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

"Telling it like it is" is, I feel, in the same file as "I speak as I find" and "they're only saying what we all think". Which is to say, it's just being rude and annoying while trying to stave off any criticism for being rude and annoying.

Also, I feel if one is really speaking the plain honest truth, one wouldn't need to say "look at me, speaking the plain honest truth" without being prompted.

See my house hasn't gone up in value. Down to asylum seekers moving in.

See also 'being politically incorrect,' or 'bad manners,' as it's known to the rest of us.
