3 months is a nice amount of time to reflect. Hopefully it'll be off to the Chiltern Hundreds. Maybe, Starmer, like Alan Partridge and the bad ventriloquist, can make sure he gets a round of applause as he leaves.

That's some leap to put a woman of colour getting hounded for no reason other than the fact she had the temerity to marry a member of the royal family and not be a white upper-class brood mare with no opinions, on par with a vain, mediocre politician with a hero complex who - if not actually antisemitic himself - is devoid of empathy for Jewish people who were abused on his watch.

How many people outside his fan club care about the procedures? Wouldn't he be better keeping his trap shut for 3 months?

I do think it's odd how so many former party members apparently have access to membership figures.

Typical Corbyn. The senior ethics advisor has resigned over Tory unethical behaviour. A Tory SofS is under fire for illegal management practices. The country is in the middle of a medical crisis which is being woefully mishandled by the Tory government. We're days away from a Tory-driven economic disaster. And what does magic grandpa do?

Kick the fucker out completely. He's no loss to the Party.

A Tory apologist elsewhere suggested if Corbyn left, Labour would rue the loss of members when it came to election campaigning.

Which is a load of shite. Party members in this very forum have said how the Corbynites never went out doorstepping anyway. They, like their svengali, would be better off getting in the sea and letting the grownups get on with it.

Just turn up at Glastonbury once a year and wave some banners and sing a horrendous rendition of a chart hit from years gone by. Easy innit.

Precisely what I told said apologist.

They don't like being reminded they enabled this shit show, neither do they like being told "yebbut Corbyn" doesn't wash any more and they need to own their shit.

As others have said, this isn't entirely healthy. Sure, lots of 15 year olds are interested in politics and will have a view on Corbyn. But having them do this as "Labour" is drawing them far too closely into bitter disputes.
