Where did you see that?

ETA: Oh, the BBC. Right.

John Mcdonnell and a load of other white men in the top jobs.

I said before that if he made an effort to have a broad range of opinions in the cabinet then I'd be willing to give him a chance. This is... there are no words.

Owen Jones pointing out that a balanced cabinet would have two women (at least) in the big four jobs - there are none.

Interestingly, Johanna Baxter (NEC) is saying this will be taken up at the Women's Conference. That looks like a clusterfuck to me. Although my Facebook Corbyn-fluffers are saying it's because Cooper et al are 'arrogant' and should leave the party. One reckons Liz Kendall is UKIP...

I think I may move to France. Or see if Kreuz has got a spare sofa.

McDonnell:

In May 2003, he praised the Provisional Irish Republican Army (IRA), saying,
It's about time we started honouring those people involved in the armed struggle. It was the bombs and bullets and sacrifice made by the likes of Bobby Sands that brought Britain to the negotiating table. The peace we have now is due to the action of the IRA." He later said that the "deaths of innocent civilians in IRA attacks is a real tragedy, but it was as a result of British occupation in Ireland. Because of the bravery of the IRA and people like Bobby Sands we now have a peace process.
That'll go down well.

He also got done for libel in his first parliamentary campaign, but the comrades had a whip round for the £15000 damages and £55000 costs.

That's par for the course and they'd do that if he was a reincarnation of St Francis, I'm very concerned that such a weak figure has been promoted to the second most important shadow responsibility. I've just been informed (by a fluffer) that his degree 'must have' included 'at least' 40% on international economics. It's sociology. A Kelloggs. I'm becoming very depressed at the level of self-delusion I'm seeing.

I'm kind of pissed off at the rubbish that was being peddled before this election about Jeremy wanting to have a diverse cabinet that reflected all opinions. Turns out he gave the top job to his best mate who agrees with him on everything - which is exactly what you'd expect from his history, career, and personality when he's never compromised on anything. but instead this image of him as a kind of easy going consensual leader was allowed to proliferate against the facts.

Apart from McDonnell and Diane Abbot at development, I think that's about it for jobs for his supporters.

What's 'A Kelloggs' ?

What is really worrying me is a member from a local party (not mine) telling us on OUR Facebook page that dissent or criticism of Corbyn is disloyalty - "Disunity is damaging" and "unhelpful to the party". That is quite chilling, to be honest*, and I'm not looking at Social Media so I've no idea what the fluffers are saying there.

*And ironic, of course, in the context of a man who voted against his party on over 500 occasions as well as breaking instructions such as 'don't support the IRA'.
