As you'll all be aware, I've been a Jess fan for several years now.

But she was absolutely terrific in the house tonight. Quite superb.

I'm really starting to think that Jess has what it takes to lead the party and become a brilliant PM.

If, once Corbyn has gone, she stands for leader, she's got my vote in a heartbeat.

No doubt Wino is thrashing away at his keyboard right now. You can easily imagine the sort of contrarian nonsense he'll be spouting.

The forum has certainly become a more enjoyable place on his absence, hasn't it?

I'd like to hear him explain away Grandpa's refusal to want a general election.

Choose one of either:

A: 4D chess - avoids grubby low tricks by Tories

B: he took notice of Blair's warning that an early GE was a bear trap.

Hmm. Tough one. He'd have gone for A ?

Similarly, have seen a lot of people who have been fair but critical of Corbyn give him credit where due this week, only to be hounded by the true believers for not always slavishly praising him.

I think they’d genuinely rather he were still being attacked, as people saying he’s done well totally undermines their ‘bias! Red Tories!’ mindset. And we can’t go round believing people not in the cult might be *reasonable* of course...
