Of course he is...

He's aiming for the Mantle of Magic Grandpa. Whatever the leadership wants, vote against it and then claim you are on the right side of history. Requires no thought, analysis or strategic understanding.

I wonder if he will blame 'Zionists' this time?
This point in particular will be a boon to Richard, given his *ahem* 'intellectual gifts' :D

Labour voted for the ERM and Tories the Iraq War in opposition. No one remembers or apportioned blame to them. Voters in Red Wall seats may confuse abstention with voting for No Deal and blame Labour for losing their jobs, doesn’t sound like a convincing reason to vote for the deal. Which happens regardless of Labour’s actions.

They'd be a bit late to the game because a "Workers' Party" already exists, and is in favour of EU withdrawal:

https://workerspartybritain.org/about/
Point 6 of their 10-point plan:
Public, high quality laundries, crèches and dining facilities that enable women to take part in work and public life without prejudice or physical barriers.
Exactly why would only women benefit from this, George? Surely you can't be suggesting they should be responsible for all childcare.

He might do, but if he's smart, he'll have looked across at the Republicans and noticed that nobody on the Right really cares about fiscal conservatism.
Unless they're in opposition.

Interesting, even taking into account my mistrust of vox-pops, but Sunak outpolling Starmer...really?
And he's the I'm Not Racist Look... excuse not to vote Labour.

Hard right tax cutters don’t let deficits get in their way especially when the welfare scroungers can help pay for them. Can’t see Sunak having Keith Joseph’s intellectual rigour or certainty (the Mad Monk of Monetarism).
