Well, it only cost £3 to let the headbangers in. What did you expect?

I still think whoever came up with that idea should be <insert unnecessarily violent but creative punishment here>.
They absolutely cannot fucking help themselves, can they? Any little petty dig, any “look what we’re doing” opportunity to make it clear that the ONLY thing that matters to some is loyalty to Jeremy. ... t-1.490243
I think Jewish Voice for Labour are clowns, but I don't get the problem with cracking a pathetic pun, nor with a shit Niemoller pastiche. Clive Lewis supported Wadsworth (who may have got a raw deal, I didn't know who Smeeth was before) so that's not beyond the pale either. I dunno, if she's more previous of backing Tony Greenstein or Jackie Walker, it would be different.

And we don't even know she's a serious runner. Somebody sent an email saying they want her to run, which isn't the same thing.

The example on the other thread of the candidate who made the shortlist in Poplar and Limehouse looks worse to me.
She's awful, Danial Sugarman wrote a good article on the likes of JVL. ... l-1.486275

Seriously, where do they find these people?

Her views arent necessarily disqualifying - though clarification would be welcome, but given Labours form in this area was there no-one else they could nominate?
I wouldn't trust that Gnasher Jew source at all.

Her "Jihad" clearly isn't the same as "the personal Jihad" of the suicide bombers. Policy Exchange and the Centre for Social Cohesion have dodgy funding, and I don't know if there's an actual news story she's seen. But Powerbase calls Policy Exchange "neoconservative orientated", and lots of neocons are very pro-Israeli government. So "Zionist" isn't the best word, but she's not throwing around generalized "Jews control the media" shit. That was 2011, Jez was being careless with the word 2013.

I'd be inclined to give her the benefit of the doubt, if that's the limit of it.
