Literally in the tony blair thread people are complaining that he's too into dialogue and not into intervening enough. We could just summarise this whole argument, spanning multiple threads, as "the centrists hate the mean lefty" everything else is post hoc.
Dialogue instead of action when action is needed to prevent harm is doing nothing. A resounding silence when strong words are needed to prevent harm is doing nothing.

Despite what you’re clumsily trying to insinuate, the pattern is consistent. His deeds do not match his words, and his words do not match his alleged personality.

You are correct that the argument is easily summarised though. It’s that Corbyn is a weak, petty, arrogant man, an enabler of bullies, and a truly dreadful leader.

If we are going go around deselecting “useless” Mps who go against the party we could start at the very top.

His record of loyalty even in 2015 when he and McDonnell suggested they would bring down a Miliband government if he didn’t bow to their whim.

But yeah let’s pretend it’s that, let’s pretend that out of the 15-20 MPs that it happened to be the female Jewish one.

Go fuck yourself on a rustic blade Winegums.

Do you support the antisemites?
Is the proponent of one of the motions actually anti-semitic, or is this just being used as an excuse to avoid scrutiny by her CLP?

Looks like the CLP has been exonerated and withdrew their motions. Looking forward to the right of the party shutting up and moving on and definitely not trying to sink the CLP out of spite/fear of deselection.

Bullshit ‘news’ site praises internal mechanisms that let people off on technicality.

Because of course, they were really going to put “We don’t like her ‘cos she’s Jewish, innit?” in the motion itself, weren’t they? They’re not that stupid (surprisingly).

+ the dialogue advocated by The Saintly Jes never takes place. He never wants to have any kind of dialogue with anyone beyond those he agrees with. This is because the world is a Manichean stage: on the right stands the IMPERIAL GLOBAL CAPITALIST ORDER, and on the left stands whoever the fuck is the movement du jour who get up their nose. None of this precludes being on the right side re: apartheid et al.

Just to be clear of what we're dealing with here, a summary on the comments on that piece:

1. Tom Watson should resign for showing support to a pregnant female MP who has been getting abuse
2. The deselction should only be postponed until she's given birth, plus as a Brucie bonus one commenter threw in a 'pound of flesh' line (draw your own conclusions there)
3. People getting abuse who cry victim make it impossible for us to victimise them with no consequences and it isn't fair
4. The tories are treating people badly therefore Berger should shut up and just take whatever shit is thrown at her
5. 'Hard right MPs are bullying constituents'
6. See, it's not antisemitism as the CLP are now being accused of bullying

All utter horse shit. Hard fucking right MPs? Jesus wept. These are the sort of thuggish, no dissent authoritarian wankers who would have been first in the queue to sign up to some sort of communist-era style secret police where they get to snitch on any dissenters. And these are the sort of people many of Corbyn's supporters want to let choose MPs. Or rather, subservient drones or equally deluded conspiracy loons.

For fuck's sake, get the split done, let these desperate to show loyalty constituency parties put up every socialist worker headbanger they can find and let these bigoted imbeciles find out themselves that they're about as electable as a massive pile of dogshit with fairy lights on spelling out the word "CUNTS". Corbyn isn't going to win jack shit so we're going to get the Tories again anyway, so get it over with now.
