You have to do better than that impress Putin.

The new leader of Ukip has said he could kill a badger with his bare hands in a bizarre interview after taking up his new role.

Henry Bolton, said “I reckon I could do that” when asked about strangling a badger during an interview on programme Sam Delaney's News Thing on Russia Today.

The former soldier, who took the helm of Ukip last month, was asked if there was an initiation ceremony for those who become Ukip leader.

Mr Bolton was questioned if it included eating an entire English flag, arm-wrestling former England football captain Terry Butcher or hunting a badger with tuberculous across Dartmoor before killing it with your bare hands.

The Ukip leader, laughing, said of the badger suggestion: "I could probably do that. I reckon I could do that... but it's not part of the initiation into being a leader of Ukip." https://www.standard.co.uk/news/uk/new- ... 59031.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

That was thin gruel from John Sweeney but I suspect he was rattling Banks' cage. He mentioned the mysterious capitalisation of his companies (which is unrelated to the by-election expenses episode) and left it at that.

Speaking of which Anne-Marie Nutter has formed a breakaway party; For Britain
We are not far-right, we are not far-left, we are simply the decent majority who want our social values in tact.

If you say so but I doubt Vince Cable is concerned about the competition
We are tired of mass immigration bringing with it practices that are abhorrent to us. We are tired of being ignored when we complain about this, or worse, labelled racists and fascists. We will not accept this any longer.

We are tired of our taxes being used to fund unproductive bureaucracy, we are tired of politicians flushing our money down the drain.

We are tired of substandard services and waiting weeks or months for NHS treatments. We’re tired of expensive transport and housing, and overwhelming competition for jobs.

We’re tired of having no voice. We’re tired of being told to stay quiet.

This country belongs to its people and those people will have a voice again.

For Britain is that voice. We will reach the people who have been forgotten and left behind. We will talk about the issues others parties won’t touch, and we certainly will talk about Islam. http://www.forbritain.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
