I'm sure it's entirely coincidental that today the Tories are announcing that the NI assembly members will be getting their wages cut after nigh on 600 days of doing fuck all.

It's definitely nothing to do with grabbing a headline or two when the DUP are giving evidence into exactly who fucked up re: RHI and how badly they did so.

Not when it's running interference with the press for the story of how they deliberately ran the RHI scheme at a huge loss, despite warnings and, y'know, mathematics. The DUP would rather take the loss on MLA wages than the London papers get a clear news day to report exactly how disgracefully corrupt they are.

The Tories are helping as much as they can.

I'm still waiting for some expert on sovereignty and democracy (as in taking back control etc.) why the balance of power in Parliment lies with one woman who is not even an elected MP.

I accept that have legitimately elected MP's, but we all know who pulls the strings
