Still to hide his body shape I guess, IIRC he took great offence at that grotesque imagined nude painting somebody made of him.

That and he's still the forerunner of yuppies who buy expensive clothing for the designer labels and don't know how to fit any of it together (I'm reminded of Patrick Bateman's tedious descriptions of his colleagues clothing in the American Psycho novel and an actual fashion guru opined how garish most of the attire combinations would have been).

Why is he wearing a suit two sizes too big? Is it to convince the faithful he really has had Covid and it’s caused weight loss?
I suspect at least some of it has to do with him insisting on a suit with the proportions of how he thinks he looks, as opposed to how he actually looks.

I once had a work colleague whose partner worked in a branch of High and Mighty, and they said they regularly had to turn away absolute fuckwits who were convinced they were literal big men based on their egos, but were nowhere near the 6 foot + giants they thought they were physically. Apparently one guy who was about 5 ft 11 and always wore cuban heels was known to go in, buy suits for a much taller man, then have some poor tailor take it in the best they could. It still looked absurd on him, but what mattered was he could go round showing off the label of where he needed to buy his suits.

It's not the clothes, it's the hanger.

It's to hide the nappy.

Currently having a bit of fun winding up a few rednecks on a Facebook page. Some nutty woman from somewhere in Arkansas has suggested that we need to worry about our problems like....Harry and Meghan.... :?

Big tough Donald shows his strength by storming out of an interview when asked a question he doesn't like.

Adolph is an eccentric and frequently horribly offensive man.
But his Fuhrership(if we assume it will shortly end) is likely to go down in history as remarkably successful in its own terms.
(If you forget all that regrettable war and extermination stuff).

Would be interested to hear more said about those apparent "peace deals".

You mean the deals where Israel is allowed to move their capital to what is supposed to be a shared city, the US continues to turn s blind eye to what the Israelis are doing with the arms they (the US) are supplying, and continuing silence on the subject of Israel's programme of annexing another country's territory?

Those peace deals?

It's very good to see one of the first bits of Trump's mess that Biden will overturn is the withdrawal from the Paris Agreement (from the Evening Standard):
Biden has pledged to rejoin the agreement immediately after being sworn into office.
Good man.

And the memory everybody will take away form Trump's 4 years is his squatting in the White House, calling fraud, surrounded by barricades obstructing the count.

One wonders if Republican supporters will see the message in the party all but abandoning him to his fate. Once you're past your use, off you fuck.

Put another way: GWB's legal team, paid for by the party, for the recounts of 2000 includes folks who ended up Supreme Court Justices. I can't imagine that's where Rudy Giuliani and his less competent associates (on Trump's campaign dime) are destined.

Reminded of a Lib Dem conference speaker; “Saddam Hussein, the Liberal Democrats are watching you.”
