Sky News are reporting Mugabe and his wife are in custody, the military are on the streets of Harare, and it's an inter-factional dust-up within ZanuPF.

Dunno how accurate that is though.

Listening to the wireless the other night, it seems this was precipitated by a purge against 'war heroes' - the most exalted position one can hold in Zim.

Isn't Mugabe himself one of these 'heroes'? Pity I lost touch with one of my old work colleagues - he's Zimbabwean.
