Probably about time to start a thread on this, seems the Iowa Caucuses turned out to be an absolute shitshow for the Democrats last night.

Which prompts me to trot out one of my regular lines during the Corbyn years in UK Labour - "Stop being shit, you shits."

I don't think the facelifts have gone to that extreme yet.

This is what hope, decency, and a sense of purpose look like.

Agree 100%, but there seems to be a huge number of 'Bernie or Bust' types (mostly angry young men) who seem absolutely intent on not supporting Biden in any way, including not voting for him in November. At least Sanders has actually endorsed Biden this time, which can only help.

Biden's pick for running mate will be crucial - somebody like Kamala Harris or especially Stacey Abrams would make a lot of sense and energise the base. By way of contrast, I can't even remember who Clinton chose in 2016.

It is however futile. Trump will win bigly 'cause he's a genius. He tells us so.

Oh god they're awful the worst kind of puritanical, self-righteous, arseholes, the American left can rival the right for stupidity.

As someone on twitter pointed out, that'd be like a buddy movie, "Uncle Touchy and The Cop".
