The current "excuse" I'm reading re Nissan is its because of The EU's war on diesel engines
Reduced demand for diesel may indeed have contributed to Nissan scaling back production.

But Brexit is the reason 100% of the scaling-back is happening in the UK.

Did you see the interview of the Nissan worker who blamed Nissan for the decision to not built the X-trail there. He said they were using Brexit as an excuse and would still vote for Brexit. This is the mentality of Brexiteers, like turkeys voting for Christmas, they have become brainwashed by catchphrases and slogans plus deep routed xenophobia making them incapable of reason. It's pathetic!

Anyone who voted for Brexit and now regrets it or isn't sure it's the best thing I have sympathy generally understand the position.

Anyone who voted for Brexit and is doubling down on that decision and blaming others while bringing up Empire and War metaphors...

Frankly you can fuck off.

Exclusive: Secret No-Deal Brexit Plan To Slash Tariffs On All Imports
British businesses fear the move could ruin their industries

Labour, meanwhile, said unilaterally switching all tariffs to zero would be an act of “sheer lunacy” which would give Brussels no motive to negotiate a future trade deal with the UK.

Neither will any other country or trade bloc. Any lower prices will be wiped out by a fall in Sterling after markets judge with certainty the lunatics are running the asylum.

In today's Suez for slow learners 'the special relationship'; Brexit gets its arsed kicked by Congress. And Trump couldn't give a toss either
To be fair Trump has a shitload of trouble on his plate. He probably cannot afford to lose 10% of the white American vote for those who identify as Irish American.

His current concern is pleasing his base by getting funding for his wall and not getting his arse kicked by Nancy Pelosi again.

To be fair to the Dems their job was never to worry about Brexit Britain. They will use this against the UK.

Trump not giving a shit about Brexit wasn't a criticism. Its something that would obsess Bannon on his global nationalist crusade but Trump has no real ideology or understanding of the outside world.
