Just seen Assange's lawyer, Per Samuelson, on Sky.

He reckons that the UK should ignore any extradition requests because Assange 'is under enough pressure already'.

True in a sense IIRC. He wanted the Swedish authorities to come to the UK to question him.

It's amazing that Sweden turned down this "offer" and went through the courts, isn't it? I mean, nothing says "give this guy the benefit of the doubt" like being wanted for questioning about rape.
