Arlene Foster was on Peston's show last night claiming that Amazon parcels were being delayed in reaching NI customers - plenty of people on Twitter last night busting that myth. The only problem is that a few more items were added to the list of things Amazon won't post to NI (mainly alcohol) in January - but as Kreuz points out above there are plenty of businesses in GB that won't ship items to NI, did so before January and has been the case for years, either due to regulation (e.g. lithium batteries) or because courier companies place a surcharge for "offshore" locations making delivery more expensive (something that makes GB sellers not sell items to NI addresses even when they normally use Royal Mail, where unless the item falls as a prohibited good to be shipped, it is not a problem and costs the same as elsewhere in the UK.)
